A big week for Inbox, the Stages & Workflows editor, and calling β with several reliability improvements across Pipelines, Phone, and integrations.
New and rolling out
π Subscribe to Inbox conversations β You can now subscribe to any Inbox conversation, not just ones assigned to you. Subscribed conversations appear alongside your assigned ones in βMy messagesβ, and you can add or remove subscribers from the conversation sidebar. Great for managers or teammates who need visibility without being the primary owner.
βοΈ Stages & Workflows editor: restored capabilities β The new Stages & Workflows editor now matches what the legacy editor could do. You can create and manage your own stages inside integration-controlled pipelines (including AppFolio Tenant Applicants), with per-stage protection that keeps the integrationβs own stage identities safe.
π Lock disallowed transitions between custom field values β You can now restrict which values a custom field can move between, so important outcome fields canβt be quietly overwritten. If an inspection failed or a decision was recorded, that record stays intact.
Inbox, Email & Texting
π¬ Assign phone conversations to any team member β Inbox conversations from calls, texts, and voicemails can now be assigned to any user on your team, even if they arenβt connected to that phone number. This matches how email inboxes already work, making it easier to hand off conversations to the right person.
π Inbound calls now correctly auto-assign in Inbox β When an inbound call resolves to a single user, the resulting Inbox conversation is now properly assigned to that user rather than landing as Unassigned.
βοΈ Text message templates: cleaner character counter β The character counter in text message templates no longer shows a misleading over-limit warning for messages longer than 160 characters. Long messages send just fine as multi-segment texts and arrive as one message β the editor now reflects that accurately.
Phone & Calling
π External fallback numbers restored for all inbound call routing types β You can now set an external fallback number when using Simultaneous, Round Robin, or Cascade inbound call handling, restoring an option that had gone missing from the UI.
β° After-hours queue handling is smoother β Callers waiting in a queue when after-hours begins now receive a clear message that their call will be answered the next business day, rather than being left in an ambiguous state.
π Average Speed of Answer added to Phone reporting β Phone reports now include Average Speed of Answer (ASA) with per-user and per-team breakdowns. The metric correctly accounts for time spent waiting in a queue, giving call center teams accurate data to manage performance.
βοΈ Call duration is recorded more reliably β Call duration is now stored more dependably, reducing cases where duration was missing from call records.
βοΈ Press-1 prompt connection delay is more dependable β Calls using a Press-1 prompt are less likely to experience the 8-second connection delay that some accounts were still seeing.
Workflows & Automation
π Autopilot delinquency rules skip fewer eligible properties β A fix makes Autopilot delinquency rules more reliable, so properties that meet all conditions are less likely to be skipped when the rule runs.
βοΈ Lead creation is more reliable β An issue that caused lead creation to time out (while the contact record saved successfully) has been resolved, so creating leads across pipelines is smoother.
π Search results now navigate correctly β A fix ensures that clicking a search result takes you to the right record rather than a missing page.
Integrations & API
π Zapier: legacy trigger compatibility restored β A mapping issue that prevented Zaps using older LeadSimple trigger events from activating has been resolved. Zapier workflows that were failing to enable should work again.
π AppFolio: filter work-order sync by property group β You can now limit AppFolio work-order sync to a specific property group, making it easier to run a pilot or demo on a subset of your portfolio before enabling sync across all properties.
π Rentvine sync is more stable β Adjustments to how LeadSimple calls the Rentvine API reduce the risk of rate-limit errors that could interrupt syncing.
π Calendly connections show account owner names β When multiple Calendly accounts are connected to LeadSimple, each connection now displays the Calendly account ownerβs name (for example, βAlexβs Calendlyβ) so you can tell them apart at a glance.
π Property notes preserved after merging duplicate properties β Notes attached to a property or unit that is merged into another record are now carried over to the surviving record, so no information is lost during a merge.
