🔁 Migration tool to new AppFolio integration is almost ready
Those of you who use our old AppFolio integration will be glad to hear we are putting the finishing touches on a tool to migrate you to the new integration! Stay tuned…
🗓 Move-in and Move-out dates are synced from AppFolio via the new integration!
In preparation for some upcoming features (see below) we now sync move in and move out dates to Units in LeadSimple. You’ll see 4 new fields on Units:
- Current Lease Move In Date - the date the current tenant moved in
- Current Lease Move Out Date - the date the current tenant is moving out
- Future Lease Move In Date - the date the future tenant is moving in (if any)
- Future Lease Move Out Date - the date the future tenant will be moving out
Of course, these fields can be used in conditional logic and merge tags too 😎
📥 Better default sync settings for shared email accounts
If you use Inbox, and connect a shared email account, LeadSimple will turn on these two settings by default to ensure all your emails will sync without any configuration.
💁♂️ Redesigned team view in process type settings
The Team page in process type settings has been redesigned, and renamed to “Team & Assignment”.
With this more compact view, it should be easier to review the users with access to each process type.
Also, your assignee roles have moved from the General settings page to the Team & Assignment page.

✨ Upcoming Features
We’re SUPER excited to be working on a few of the most requested features on our feedback board right now!!!
- Property Groups: Synced automatically from AppFolio! Or manually created in LeadSimple if you don’t use AppFolio.
- Default Due Dates: Process due dates will be dynamically set based on the type of process you’re running.
- Automatic Process Assignment: Automatically assign new processes to different team members based on the property group the property is part of (e.g. If property group is “pink team” assign Charlie as the maintenance coordinator, Linus as the property manager, and Sally as the leasing agent, etc…).
- Automatically Starting Processes: Start processes automatically for specific properties on specific days of the month, in relation to important dates such as “lease end date”, and based on customizable conditions [chef’s kiss] 😚👌
“When will these features be available?” We can’t share a firm date yet (that’s the nature of software), but we expect to deliver these features in early 2023 🎉
